1 000 families need food parcels. You can help fill the gap.
We're very connected with our beneficiaries on the ground and the narrative is clear: they are anxious and worried about COVID19 and its impact on their families and communities.
Many don’t know how they will pay rent, electricity or where their next meal will come from.
Hunger is real and people are getting desperate. It's scary. And it can be fixed with an essential food parcel.
Who will benefit?
Children, the elderly and families from impoverished communities who are hungry and have no or insufficient income, as a result of COVID-19.
This includes:
- Children, families and staff of local ECD centres
- Women and men enrolled on The Clothing Bank programmes, who cannot earn an income from their informal trading, to feed their families and communities
- Community feeding projects and networks who are working in those communities to feed the hungry
A family food parcel costs only R250 ($13,50).
It contains essentials such as rice, oil, peanut butter, pasta, peas, flour, tea, sugar, maize lentils, fish, peas, pasta, peas, flour, tea, sugar, maize and beans.
One parcel will feed a family of four for a week.

Our sincere and heartfelt THANKS to every partner, funder, volunteer, supplier and friend who has supported the cause already. With you at our side, we are brave and hopeful.
#StrongerTogether,
Tracey Chambers and Tracey Gilmore
CEO and COO, The Clothing Bank group
