The Clothing Bank supports self-employment as a solution to the structural unemployment problems that are faced by women living in low-income areas in South Africa. Many of the women we serve are trading out of necessity with limited success. We address the need for more business-focused education and support women as they grow sustainable micro businesses.
To inspire, skill and support mothers to eradicate poverty in their lives.
To empower unemployed mothers, through Enterprise Development, in order for them to have the skills to become financially as well as socially independent so that they are able to provide for their children.
To provide practical support to non-profit organisations by supplying clothing for their beneficiaries on a needs basis, thereby alleviating the burden of organisations to clothe the people in their care.
